Regeneration and Recycling of Activated Carbon 

Saturated activated carbon can regain its adsorption capacity through thermal regeneration, chemical regeneration, or steam activation. Thermal regeneration is the most common method, which uses high-temperature treatment to decompose or desorb the adsorbate, enabling the material to be reused and reducing operating costs.
